                                                      donkey.jpg

There is nothing like a curious donkey to bring a smile.  This one walked right up to the barbed wire fence to satisfy his need to know who was invading his territory.  A lot of adults "love" donkeys.  So do many children.  This would make an interesting conversation piece hanging on the wall in a home.

                                                      leaves.jpg
This Autumn leaves picture that looks like a painting was made near my mailbox.  Many of my photo studies are gleaned from very near where I live.  The fascinating colors of autumn intrigue me and beckon me to capture their beauty.

                                     cypress.jpg
This picture is of a bald cypress loaded with its fruit. This tree stands in a rather unusual place for one of its kind.  It is at the juncture of Highway 5 and Tippah River Bottom Road in North Mississippi.  Although the ground is dry near this water-loving tree, it thrives and bears fruit and makes a lovely portrait.

                                     mimosa.jpg

This photograph depicts peace, tranquility, fragility and strength in the midst of beauty.  The mimosa branches and the delicate flowers shrouded in a morning mist tell their own story; a story without words.

                                     flower.jpg
This restful picture was taken in my front yard.  The weather was warm and water was needed by the plants, so I set up the hose to give this thirsty lily a drink.  A few minutes after the sprinkler was turned on the sun suddenly burst through the shade of an ajacent tree, as if giving a smiling "thank you" for the beautiful flower.
